Early Intervention Service for children with special needs.
Sesame has been running in Dungarvan for almost thirty years. In September 2012 West Waterford Childcare Services, commenced running the Sesame Service. The main function of Sesame is to provide an early intervention service for children with additional needs in conjunction with families. Sesame Early Intervention Service is committed to providing excellent standards of care for the holistic development of each child. Through providing a warm, friendly, safe and caring environment we aspire to challenge and stimulate children to develop to their full potential through play, learning ,and by implementing their individual therapies, interactions and experiences that are age and stage appropriate. We recognize each child’s individuality in the context of their place in Sesame, at home and in the wider community
Both facilities are equipped to the highest standards, with large and secure outdoor play areas and are fully regulated by TUSLA, Child and Family Agency and HSE.
