Kiddies Cove Mission Statement:
Kiddies Cove is committed to providing excellent standards of care for the holistic development of each child. Through providing a warm, friendly, safe and caring environment we aspire to challenge and stimulate children to develop to their full potential through play, learning, interactions and experiences that are age and stage appropriate.
Kiddies Cove which is based in our Whitestrand facility and is an extension of Le Cheile. We offer a preschool service from 9am to 12pm Monday to Friday and an afternoon session from 1pm- 4pm Monday to Friday.
This room provides a variety of activities taking into account diversity and equality. We recognise each child’s individuality in the context of their place in Kiddies Cove, at home and in the wider community.
We have large outdoor areas designed to ensure that children have the opportunity to explore their natural environment and expand their learning through play.
Our curriculum is play based and is linked to Aistear the Early Learning National Curriculum Framework for children from birth to 6 years of age. We are also linked with Síolta the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education.
Our room is developmentally designed to support each child’s learning. Our materials and equipment are age and stage appropriate
We are registered with Túsla the Child and Family Agency, we are member of Early Childhood Ireland and part funded by DCEDIY
